Branding America’s Election Headquarters
This campaign was designed for the National Constitution Center's America's Election Headquarters exhibit, to raise awareness and to persuade young adults to participate in the country's current issues by voting. Each poster targets a moment in American history in which the right to vote was denied to a specific group of people: women, African Americans, and the youth. Thanks to activists, today voting is a constitutional right without discrimination. However, there is still unfinished business regarding gender, age, and race inequality. Thus, the campaign promotes using your vote as a voice in today's current issues regarding, age, race and gender. Through photo restoration of black and white images, the design takes a modern look at prominent historical events of the past. In order to attract the opinionated, yet unparticipative, youth of today to vote, the campaign communicates why voting and participation is still relevant and crucial.
