How we infused Oscar’s values into our culture

As a mission-driven organization, Oscar has seven core values that guide how employees work. But over time, employees struggled to recall or connect with them, leading to gaps in alignment and impact. So, the People team partnered with Brand to reignite engagement.

As Senior Design Manager and lead designer on the project, I developed a bold, cohesive design system inspired by the value “Powered by People.” My approach translated abstract values into an expressive visual language that feels human, energizing, and easy to integrate across internal touchpoints. From posters to screensavers, the system created consistency while allowing for flexible, modular storytelling.

The work continues to build on this foundation with fresh formats and activations to keep the Values visible, memorable, and meaningful across the company.
